Hey, guys. Up until a recent update, when placing a worktop on a wall, it would snap to an object that was already placed on the wall. This was a very useful feature, especially in larger kitchens where the worktop did not go the length of an entire wall (which is the way most larger kitchens are). Now when placing the worktop, it fills up the entire length of the wall, and then you have to resize it to fit. Is there any way you can restore this snapping feature for worktops?

For example, in the image below, I would place the refrigerator and sliding door first, and then quickly grab the worktop and drag it into place where it would snap nicely between those two objects and the wall.

Now when doing that same procedure, the worktop fills up both walls and needs to be resized:

I know this seems like a small thing, but when placing worktops in kitchens and bathrooms, having the ability to snap to objects really sped things up.

Thanks!

Hi, this is something that has been picked up recently so is going to be looked at. Thanks for the pointer.

Thanks, Neil. We would love to see it return to its previous snapping feature!

By the way, go to 6:55 in this video to see how efficient it is to place a worktop when other objects have placed first, thus snapping the worktop to them for quick placement/resize.
